Through our Train-the-Trainer program, The Reading Partnership equips schools and community organizations with the training, tools, and support needed to become a Program Delivery Partner (PDP) and successfully and independently implement our Reading Partnership for Parents (RPP) programs in the communities they serve.
PDPs receive training on our proven methodology for supporting caregivers through the process of strengthening their child’s literacy skills and teaching them to read. Outcomes for trained facilitators include:
-
- Increased knowledge, tools, and confidence to support children’s literacy development
- Increased access to, and recognition of the importance of culturally relevant/reflective literacy tools
- Increased capacity to engage parents/caregivers in children’s literacy development
If your organization would like to host an RPP program in your own community, get in touch to learn more!
TESTIMONIAL
I love the program and learned a lot. I hope to use the skills I learned in working with TRP with other marginalized communities and in the non-profit sector.
