Sabrina Wu (she/her)
Board Member
Sabrina has over 15 years of financial markets and risk management experience. After spending nearly a decade in capital markets, she joined the Bank of Canada in 2019 as a Senior Trader in the financial markets analysis and operations team. Her expertise includes financial risk management, financial market operations, and monetary policy design and implementation. She is a certified Financial Risk Manager (Global Association of Risk Professionals) and holds a Master of Finance from Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto).
Her love of reading began before kindergarten. Brought up by grandparents who were both teachers, Sabrina was exposed to literature from all over the world at a very young age. She understands the importance of reading and literacy, so serving on the board of TRP is the perfect opportunity to share that passion. Prior to joining the TRP board, Sabrina served on the YWCA Toronto board for 3 years. She represented the YWCA Canada at the 61st United Nations Status of Women Commission in New York. In her spare time, Sabrina loves kayaking, hiking, and canoe-camping with her husband Jason and daughter Skylar.
