DOLLY PARTON’S
No family should have to choose between putting food on the table and enriching their kids’ imaginations. We’ve proudly partnered with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to bring free, high-quality books each month to kids in East Scarborough, Ontario from birth until their fifth birthday, sent directly to their door at no cost to families. Building home libraries for kids is important because it helps them develop a deeper love of reading, while fostering a sense of empowerment and ownership.

We partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, who generously supplies all the books that are sent out to kids, while our hardworking staff and volunteers are here to troubleshoot any issues and ensure that your little reader gets their new book every month!
When you sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, your child will receive a book every month. The first book they’ll receive is a customized version of The Little Engine That Could™, and when they exit the program at age five they’ll receive a customized copy of Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come! to prepare them for entering their school years.
Studies have shown that having a positive environment for literacy at home plays a key role in improving children’s academic and social performance later on.
